Product Care
At Brigg, we build goods meant to last. Proper care will keep your leather and canvas aging with character and performing the way they should for years to come.
Full-Grain Leather Care
Brigg products are made from full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather—material that develops a rich patina with use. Each piece will age differently based on how you carry it.
General Care
Avoid prolonged exposure to water. If the leather gets wet, let it dry naturally—no heat.
Keep away from direct, extended sunlight to prevent excessive darkening.
Surface marks and scratches are natural and will blend in as the leather patinas.
Conditioning
Use a quality leather conditioner sparingly—1–2 times a year is usually enough.
Apply lightly with a soft cloth and allow the leather to absorb naturally.
Over-conditioning can soften structured leathers, so less is more.
Waxed Canvas Care
Our waxed canvas is built for hard use and weather resistance. The wax finish will show creases and wear—this is part of its character.
General Care
Brush off dirt with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
Never machine wash or dry clean.
Avoid harsh soaps; they can strip the wax.
Re-Waxing
Over time, your canvas may need a fresh coat.
Apply a high-quality fabric wax with gentle heat to restore water resistance and color depth.
Re-wax as needed depending on use—there’s no strict schedule.
Unwaxed Canvas Care
Unwaxed canvas is durable and built for daily carry but should be treated differently from waxed canvas.
General Care
Spot clean with mild soap and cold water.
Avoid soaking the fabric to prevent loss of structure.
Air dry only.
